    1. Salary Trends
    The Committee will work with several companies that provide salary surveys to identify trends in compensation. One session will present findings from several providers
    2. Survey
    To conduct a survey of members and get baseline data for:

    • HR Department Structure and Functioning
    • Average turnover rate by type of industry and level of position
    • Amount on average spent annually per head on training
    • The percent of overall cost to an organization of manpower, again by industry
    Position papers

    1. Prepare a position paper on the most effective method of handling workforce reduction, as we see this as one of our primary Human Resource challenges.
    2. Produce a document detailing the results of the survey.
