The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to its website.
This "Statement of User Privacy," and the attached "Terms and Conditions of Use," describe how the information compiled by amcham.org.eg is used by AmCham, as well as the terms and conditions for using the site.
We encourage you to read both of these documents carefully before using this site. If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail us at web@amcham.org.eg

In General
You can visit our website without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. AmCham monitors user traffic according to users' domain names, browser types, date and time of access and pages viewed. While our web servers collect the domain names of visitors, they do not collect email addresses. This information is compiled in order to measure the number of visitors to our site and to determine which areas of the site users find useful, based upon the amount of traffic in particular areas. AmCham uses this information to better suit future content to users' needs.
Visitors to our website may occasionally be asked to provide personal information. In most cases, such information is used only to respond to inquiries. AmCham will not provide any other organizations with visitor information or visitors' e-mail addresses.
In some instances, AmCham may provide links to non-AmCham controlled websites. AmCham does not, however, control such third-party websites, and cannot be held responsible for the content or privacy practices employed by other sites.

Cookies
AmCham may use cookies on this site. Cookies are small text files sent to, and stored, on users' computers. This allows websites like amcham.org.eg to recognize repeat users, facilitate users' access, and allow sites to compile aggregate data for content improvements. Cookies do not damage users' computers or files. If users do not want cookies to be accessible by AmCham, most browser programs allow users to deny or disable cookie use.

Correcting/modifying Information
AmCham allows users to correct or modify previously submitted information. To report problems with the site, or to send any questions or comments, e-mail us at web@amcham.org.eg.
If you wish to remove your information from this site, please notify us.
As amcham.org.eg expands, we will regularly update this policy, without prior notice to users.
