The “Made in America” trade fair for US products and services, will be held from October 9-11, 2008 in Beirut, Lebanon.

“Made in America” aims at showcasing the latest American technology and to assist American businesses in taking advantage of the expanding commercial relations between the Middle East and the United States. The event is organized by the US Commercial Service at the US embassy in Lebanon in collaboration with AmCham Lebanon.

The 2005 “Made in America” trade show had been a huge success and featured the goods and services of more than 300 U.S. companies active in a wide variety of sectors including; information and communication technology, environmental technology, health care, the automotive industry, construction, household appliances, security, transportation, and the energy sector. The fair also attracted more that 18,000 visitors.

Participation in the trade show is open to American companies, companies dealing in American goods and services, and companies wishing to obtain American brands.
