November & December Workshops:
Six Sigma (Nov. 13-15, 2005)

Sigma is a different way to look at and solve problems, and more importantly to get rid of the autocrats who refuse change and start a new behavior. Participants in this workshop are provided with lots of case studies in quality and cost savings in order to understand related processes and measure their deviations.
Tailored Workshops
The Career Development Center offers tailored workshops for companies according to their convenience. The company gets to choose the topic, the timing of the workshop, the venue and the instructor. Throughout the past four months, we conducted 16 tailored management workshops for 11 companies.
One of our recent tailored workshops was Time Management, for DHL, held on December 11-12, 2005. At the request of DHL’s training department, Heba El Soussy was the instructor of the course, which was attended by 15 company employees. The participants were very satisfied with the content presented and the instructor. “Heba is one of the most professional instructors I have ever seen,” said one of the attendees.
High Impact Presentation (Nov. 22-23, 2005)
Instructor: Heba El Soussy
This workshop is designed for those who are new to presentations and also for those who have been delivering presentations and seek to improve their skills. It walks participants through ways to plan and build structures for presentations, and provides techniques in using presentations effectively.
Time Management (Dec. 4-6, 2005)
Instructor: Azza Shaaban
This course aims to set priorities and develop a plan for tasks to perform or delegate. The workshop provides useful assignments and projects that aim at addressing the challenges of time management and task settings.
Strategic HR Management (December 13-15, 2005)

This course provides a management-oriented exploration of strategic human resource management, structure and functional applications. Useful case studies are presented to participants to address the many issues and problems that are involved in the management of organizational processes in human resource management.
Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (Dec. 5-8, 2005)
Instructor: Samir Allam
The main objective of this workshop is to develop participants’ knowledge of the main functions of purchasing and supply chain management, especially those related to purchasing, supplier selection and evaluation, and to improve their skills in designing and using the tools of data collection and data analysis to efficiently perform purchasing tasks, bid evaluation and supply base management.
