September Workshops:
Consultant Cynthia Brandenberg conducted the
How to Work Under Stress workshop at AmCham premises on the September
1-3, 2004.
The workshop taught participants to identify sources of stress,
develop coping strategies and manage time effectively to reduce
the adverse impacts of stress.
Consultant Ahmed Kamel held the Marketing
for Non-Marketing Managers workshop at AmCham premises on September
5-7, 2004.
The workshop was devoted to identifying marketing functions within
the organization.
Consultant Khaled Akl conducted the Project Management
workshop at AmCham premises on September 6-7, 2004.
The importance of the workshop is derived from the fact that it
is very common for project managers to experience frustration due
to budget overruns and material shortage, and to work too much for
too little profit. Project managers also often face unexpected delays
and interruptions. This workshop covered all the techniques necessary
for trouble-free and profitable project management. It gave the
participants the expert knowledge, planning skills and the precise
tools needed to insure the success of each of the company’s
projects.
Dr. Eissa Refai conducted the How to Detect and
Prevent Financial Statment Fraud workshop at AmCham premises on
September 12-14, 2004.
The course explained how to investigate financial statements fraud.
It examined the types and techniques of financial statements fraud
and possible motives. It also discussed how to prevent financial
statements fraud.
Consultant Yasser El Far held the Planning and
Decision Making Tools and Techniques workshop at AmCham premises
on September 19-23, 2004.
The workshop’s main premise was that without a goal, no
organization would have a reason to exist. Setting the right goals
and then choosing the right means for attaining those goals are
the two most important aspects of effective planning.
Dr. Hussein Eissa presented the Financial Planning
workshop at AmCham premises on September 26-28, 2004.
The workshop helped participants understand financial planning
skills and how to make financial plans according to short and long
term objectives.
Consultant Heba El Sousy conducted the Introduction and Fundamentals
of Advertising workshop at AmCham premises on September 28-30, 2004.
The workshop helped new entrants to the field understand the process,
from the initial planning stages to the very end of a campaign.
Participants emerged equipped to plan and manage campaigns and work
with advertising agencies to ensure that targets are achieved.
