September Workshops:

The workshop taught participants to identify sources of stress, develop coping strategies and manage time effectively to reduce the adverse impacts of stress.

Consultant Ahmed Kamel held the Marketing for Non-Marketing Managers workshop at AmCham premises on September 5-7, 2004.

The workshop was devoted to identifying marketing functions within the organization.

The importance of the workshop is derived from the fact that it is very common for project managers to experience frustration due to budget overruns and material shortage, and to work too much for too little profit. Project managers also often face unexpected delays and interruptions. This workshop covered all the techniques necessary for trouble-free and profitable project management. It gave the participants the expert knowledge, planning skills and the precise tools needed to insure the success of each of the company’s projects.

The course explained how to investigate financial statements fraud. It examined the types and techniques of financial statements fraud and possible motives. It also discussed how to prevent financial statements fraud.

The workshop’s main premise was that without a goal, no organization would have a reason to exist. Setting the right goals and then choosing the right means for attaining those goals are the two most important aspects of effective planning.

The workshop helped participants understand financial planning skills and how to make financial plans according to short and long term objectives.

Consultant Heba El Sousy conducted the Introduction and Fundamentals of Advertising workshop at AmCham premises on September 28-30, 2004.

The workshop helped new entrants to the field understand the process, from the initial planning stages to the very end of a campaign. Participants emerged equipped to plan and manage campaigns and work with advertising agencies to ensure that targets are achieved.
