October Workshops:
Consultant Azza Shaaban gave the Business Letter
Writing workshop at AmCham premises on October 3-4, 2004.
The workshop was designed to improve employee writing skills for
simple business correspondence. One of the most difficult tasks
an executive has to face everyday is writing an effective letter.
The course focused on writing business letters that would be understandable
to their readers and result in action.
Consultant Hussein Eissa held the Planning Budget
and Cash Budget workshop at AmCham premises on October 3-5, 2004.
The workshop discussed how budgeting systems can supply information
about monthly cash needs, raw materials requirements, peak labor
demand seasons and the timing of capital facility expenditures.
At the end of an accounting period, budgets help management assess
areas of strength and weakness through comparisons of actual operating
results and budgeted amounts. The course also explored areas related
to operational and cash budgets.

Effective Presentation workshop at AmCham premises on October 3-5,
2004.
The workshop trained participants to:
