Description: -Maintain the filing system of the Programs Department.
-Write letters send faxes, handle telephone calls.
-Organize the logistical and administrative work of Monthly Luncheons, Breakfast Briefings and Roundtable Discussions such as sending announcement to members, preparing nametags and place cards, follow-up calls.
-During luncheons, follow-up with selected invitees by calling them & sending faxes, type nametags, print place cards.
-Follow-up revenue, hotel evaluation sheet, and thank you letter to speaker after the event.
-Send out faxes for Board of Governors meeting & follow-up.
-Maintain updated contact information for the Board of Governors.
-Update database of all special guests i.e. Ministers, Ambassadors etc...
-Renew the database of contacts in the U.S. annually.
-Collect monthly clippings of Chamber events to be used as a means of reference.
-Market AmCham services at Exhibitions such as the Cairo International Fair.
-Following the request of the Deputy Executive Director, one assists in handling the logistics of the annual Doorknock Mission, Business Missions and Fundraising Events.
-Assist in compiling a semi-annual SWOT analysis on the departments achievements.
- For events and committee meetings, upon request, one calls members to ensure their attendance..
Interactions:
Communicate with the offices of the Board of Governors, AmCham members, special guests (i.e. government officials), and with the press.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree -Candidate must be self-sufficient and have good English oral and written communications skills. -1-3 Years Experience

Executive Secretary

9. Maintain a master calendar of scheduled activities which concern the Deputy Executive Director, monitor the status of the activities and regularly provide an update for the Deputy Executive Director.
10.Monitor for the work projects of the Deputy Executive Director
11. Follow the office standards for correspondence and quality of work and provide advice on overall office work follow.
12. Be aware of, understand and follow The Chamber Policies & Procedures.
13. Prepare the articles for the CDC newsletter.
14. Perform other tasks requested from the Manager.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree,Bachelor’s degree. Admin./ secretarial experience. Excellent spoken English. good computer skills; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Excellent memory & organizational ability. Well organized and capable of working with different departments. The ability to communicate clearly & concisely, both orally & in writing
